Nexframe Journal keeps cookies to a minimum. There's no advertising network here, no cross-site tracking, and nothing that follows you around the web after you leave. This page lists what we do set and how to switch it off.
What a cookie is here
A cookie is a small text value your browser stores for a site. We also use your browser's local storage the same way. In both cases the data stays on your device and is only read by this site.
The cookies we use
Consent choice (essential)
When you accept or dismiss the cookie banner, we store that choice so the banner doesn't reappear every visit. It holds nothing but your preference and is never sent anywhere.
Read counts (analytics, optional)
We keep a rough tally of which articles get read, so I know which deep-dives to write next. This is aggregate and privacy-minded — it isn't tied to your name, email, or an advertising profile. If you choose "essential only" on the banner, we don't set this.
Fonts
We load fonts from Google Fonts, which may set its own cookies as part of serving them. That's outside our storage; if you'd rather avoid it, blocking third-party cookies in your browser stops it without breaking the site's layout in any meaningful way.
Turning cookies off
Every browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies and local storage from its privacy settings. Clearing them here removes your saved consent choice, so the banner will greet you again next time — that's expected, not a bug. Blocking them entirely won't lock you out; the site is built to work without any non-essential storage.
Changing your mind
